Ada beberapa perubahan fitur dalam game terbaru Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, antara lain :

1. Sistem kendali
Pengendalian pemain terhadap karakternya kian ditingkatkan. Kini gamer dapat mengendalikan seluruh gerakan seperti menendang, menggiring bola, mengocek lawan dengan sangat presisi. Tentunya sistem gerakan tersebut masih bisa disesuaikan kembali.
2. Pengukur stamina
Pengukur stamina yang berbentuk ‘tingkatan’ kini lebih detail. Terlalu sering berlari dan mengiring bola pun akan menurunkan stamina para pemain dalam PES 2011
 
3. Pertahanan yang lebih baik
Para pemain belakang kini punya gaya pertahanan lebih baik dengan gerakan yang begitu alami. Kini mereka tidak hanya mengejar bola yang masuk dalam areanya, namun juga berupaya merebut bola tanpa melakukan kesalahan.
4. Animasi beragam
Dalam PES 2011 Konami telah merombak total animasi yang akan dikeluarkan tiap-tiap pemain. Semua gerakan kini terlihat lebih terlihat nyata, terlebih lagi Konami membenamkan Physics dalam PES kali ini.
